Gas Springs for fast delivery!

Many standard Gas springs are stock items and are available for fast delivery. Buy your gas spring from our online shop now!

The standard gas spring range covers over 2000 item numbers - and it is accompanied by an extremely large End Fittings range with countless mounting options.

Always try to use the strongest possible fittings. If you order fittings that are not strong enough for the gas spring you have chosen, Sodemann Industrifjedre A/S cannot be held responsible for any subsequent damage.

If gas springs in cars or other structures are replaced with our gas springs, Sodemann Industrifjedre A/S cannot be held responsible for any differences in performance or damage to cars or structures.

Welded eyes - Nitrider

BE version - This series of gas springs have welded loops at both ends. The loops cannot be replaced. The sleeve is made of ordinary steel and then painted black. The piston rod has been Nitrider treated, which offers a degree of rust protection.

Available sizes:
6mm Rod:
Force range: 50-400 Newton (5-40kg)
Stroke interval: 20-150mm
8mm Rod:
Force range: 100-800 Newton (10-80kg)
Stroke interval: 60-250mm
10mm Rod:
Force range: 150-1200 Newton (15-120kg)
Stroke interval: 95-295mm
Thread at both ends – painted black

GF version - These gas springs have threads at both ends. The size of the thread depends on the piston rod. The sleeve is painted black, while the piston road has been given an anti-rust treatment. We recommend, however, using stainless steel gas springs, if the springs are to be used in a damp environment.

We have a large selection of end-fittings that can be screwed onto these gas springs. See our selection of end-fittings here.

Thread at both ends – stainless steel

GFRF version - the GFRF version is available in largely the same sizes as the GF series. These also have threads at both ends. Both sleeve and piston rod are made of 304 stainless steel. If the gas spring is not to be used in a damp environment, you might also look at our GF version.

We have a large selection of end-fittings that can be screwed onto these gas springs. See our selection of end-fittings here.

VL version - Variload gas springs have the same physical dimensions as standard gas springs. It is also possible to reduce the force. Variload springs are delivered with maximum force. Gas can be released by means of a small valve. Please note that it is not possible to refill with more force subsequently.

The sleeve of a Variload gas spring is painted black. The piston rod has been Nitrider treated, which offers a degree of rust protection. The series is also available in stainless steel.

Both sleeve and piston rod are made of 304 stainless steel. If the springs are to be used in a damp or a wet environment, we recommend using standard stainless steel gas springs if you know the force. This series also exists in a black painted version that can be used in a dry environment.
